Goodfella's bids for Italian status

Frozen-pizza brand Goodfella's has hired Clarion Communications to help emphasise its 'authentic Italian credentials'.

The agency will highlight the fact that Goodfella's La Bottega was the first pizza created by a Michelin-starred restaurant in Tuscany. It will also focus on the brand's Delicia and Deeply Delicious ranges.

Clarion won the account, worth more than £100,000, in a four-way pitch. Porter Novelli worked on La Bottega last year.
