With such a wide choice of categories, there are plenty of opportunities for both big and not-so-big campaigns to be entered - which gives everyone from the independent, one-person band to the big corporate or consultancy team a chance. For all of them and their masters, board or client, PRide means that they are measured against hot competition, and when they're successful, they're rewarded.
When we talk about awards, we must also remember how much of an incentive they can be for team motivation, never mind both the internal and external PR opportunities they create.
To those who have come out top, many congratulations. And to those of you who have not been as successful, thank you for entering and please do so again.
Finally, to every PR professional in our two regions who did not enter, do give it a go in 2005.
