Greenwich looks for higher profile

The world heritage site Maritime Greenwich is on the hunt for a PR agency to raise its profile among Londoners and domestic tourists.

The Greenwich Council-backed initiative, which draws on a pooled marketing budget from all Greenwich's main visitor attractions, has dropped two-year incumbent Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster.

Maritime Greenwich marketing group chair Simon Dobson said he wants to increase coverage of the area as a visitor destination in the consumer and lifestyle press.

Agencies have yet to be shortlisted for the work, which will publicise Greenwich to the London leisure, events and regional press.
