Bite in Samsung corporate win

Samsung Electronics, the world's second-largest manufacturer of mobile phones, has ended its nine-year relationship with Golin Harris and moved its UK corporate and financial account into its consumer agency Bite Communications.

GH has handled publicity around Samsung's corporate profile, financial calendar and technology breakthroughs since 1996.

Last month, Samsung reported an 81 per cent rise in profits in 2004, but was hit by a squeeze on mobile phone prices, flat screens and semiconductors.

Samsung subsidiary Cheil Communications confirmed it had appointed Bite.
