Trieste to host World PR Festival

The second World Public Relations Festival (WPRF) will take place in Italy this summer, with the theme of ‘communicating diversity’.

The festival, which will take place at the Congress Center Stazione Marittima in Trieste, will run from 28-30 June.

Speakers are expected to include: Emma Bonino, the previous EU commissioner for humanitarian aid and now a driver of the moderate Islam movement; Anne Gregory, former president of the IPR, professor of PR at Leeds Metropolitan University and board member of the Yorkshire Mental Illness Trust; and Franco Frattini, the vice-president and immigration commissioner for the EU.

Session topics include ‘Communicating the value of diversity’ and ‘Best practice in public relations association management’. The festival will also host the AGM of the Global Alliance.

PRWeek is a media sponsor of the event. For details, go to www.wprf.org.
