Music charity in 30th celebration

Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy plans to use its 30th anniversary celebrations this year to increase understanding and respect for music therapy.

The charity wants to raise awareness about its work among account directors and project managers in the record industry to win their support early on in their careers.

It has hired LD Communications to raise awareness of fundraising events during the year and hopes to capitalise on publicity generated by the charity’s celebrity music patrons.

It also wants the charity to be seen as a deserving cause for public funding and that the public are aware of the difference music therapy can make to disabled kids.

The Outside Organisation’s hold on the charity’s Silver Clef Lunch fundraising event is unaffected.
