Music Choice’s Jones joins EMI

Music Choice Europe head of music and PR Dylan Jones is quitting the digital radio programme maker to join iconic record label EMI.

Jones, who has been with Music Choice for three years, takes the new position of EMI Group senior director of corporate communications next month.

He will report to senior V-P of corporate comms Amanda Conroy.

Along with the three-strong team’s media director Richard O’Brien, Jones and Conroy will act as the mouthpiece for EMI, and co-ordinate media relations and strategic comms overseas.

Jones joined Music Choice Europe as comms chief in 2002.

Music Choice is to split Jones’s role and is looking for a new PR manager and music programmer.
