Quest in push for Oryx boat race

Yachtswoman Tracey Edwards’s Quest International Sports Events (QISE) is preparing an international media drive for its first non-stop round-the-world boat race, the Oryx Quest.

QISE has appointed MPA Media to manage international media relations – with key markets being the Middle East, UK, US, France, Germany and Australia – for the race that sees multi-hulled boats of more than 100ft in length depart from Doha, Qatar on 5 February.

MPA will target a predominantly affluent audience through sporting, lifestyle and business press, and publicise the involvement of the event’s main sponsor, HSBC.
