Metrica wins top AMEC accolades

Metrica this week scooped the top award at this year’s Association of Media Evaluation Companies (AMEC) Communications Effectiveness Awards.

The research firm picked up the platinum award for the second time in the competition’s three-year history for its work for telecoms brand 3, as well as the gold prize in three other categories.

Echo Research came away with four gold awards including best use of comms planning for its work on QBO Bell Pottinger’s Emirates Airlines account.

For the first year, the awards were opened to non-AMEC members – a move that resulted in 50 entries, more than double the number in the awards’ first year.

The eight categories were judged by a panel of ten judges, led by Simon Quarendon.
