Waterford’s PR escapes change

Ireland-based luxury crystal and pottery maker Waterford Wedgewood has no plans to review its PR accounts following a potential takeover of rival ceramics maker Royal Doulton.

The company announced last week that it was in advanced talks to buy the remaining 79 per cent of Royal Doulton shares it does not already own, as well as debt, for around £70m.

Waterford uses Powerscourt PR for UK and international media relations, Dublin-based Dennehy Associates for Irish media relations and College Hill for investor relations.

Royal Doulton uses GCG Hudson Sandler for financial comms.
