Easynet set for B2B media drive

Broadband network provider Easynet is launching a B2B drive in response to increased media interest in issues such as third-party use of BT’s copper-cable network.

Chief executive David Rowe will be among those featured in a PR campaign by Fuse PR that will target the nationals, pan-European business titles, technology trade media and verticals for key industries such as the public sector, retail and manufacturing. The firm is also broadening its range of spokespeople.

Easynet, which recorded revenues of £68.5m in the first six months of 2004, will also attempt to raise the profile of its sponsorship of the British Olympic team.

Fuse was hired after a six-way pitch.
