Corgi to launch gas safety push

The Council for Registered Gas Installers (Corgi) is gearing up to launch a gas safety awareness campaign to guard against carbon monoxide emissions.

Corgi CEO Mike Thompson will launch the campaign at the Labour Party Conference in a panel discussion alongside construction minister Nigel Griffiths and Jon Trickett, chairman of the all-party gas and safety group.

Supported by AS Biss & Co, the campaign will aim

to drive home the message that all gas installations should be carried out

by Corgi-registered professionals and safety-checked every 12 months.
