Why will kids want to read Jetix? We’re the only mag in the kids market that offers a free DVD every issue. Each month they get two episodes of their favourite cartoons and shows, plus games, puzzles, member-only sections and behind-the-scene features. Plus, a super-cool mag packed full of activities!

Which kids will the mag target?

The mag is aiming at boys between six and 11. If they’re cheeky, cheery and love kids’ shows, they’ll adore the mag. Obviously, we want all the Fox Kids and Jetix fans reading us, but there will be something for everyone even if they don’t have satellite.

Who do you want to hear from?

Anyone who wants to get their brands across to a media-savvy bunch of kids who can’t get enough of their favourite characters and games.

How does your relationship with Jetix affect the content you can use?

We give Jetix brands priority, which isn’t a problem as the likes of Power Rangers, Turtles, Sonic and Spider-Man are cooler than cool anyway. However, this is a kids’ lifestyle mag as well, so we cover any characters and brands that appeal to lads.

What regular sections can PROs feed into?

There’s news and reviews of toys, video games, music, films and videos, but our killer USP is our cover-mounted DVD. If you have trailers or games demos, we’d love to hear from you.

How will PROs stories be treated?

With boundless enthusiasm. If we think your product and characters are fab, we’ll rave about it. But if we think they are a waste of kids’ pocket money, we’ll tell ’em. Kids are harsh critics and will tell us if we’re pushing duds on them.

Anything PROs should know about dealing with you? Do you bite?

I nibble a bit, but I don’t bite. I’m looking after all of Future’s new kids’ mags, so I’m constantly on deadline. Be patient if I sound a bit frazzled.
