RNIB hires Haggie Hepburn on Halloween funds job

The Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB) is to launch a national Halloween-themed fundraising campaign called Scared Senseless.

It has appointed Haggie Hepburn to promote events around the country, which are likely to include sponsored sit-ins in haunted castles and fancy dress Halloween Balls.

The charity is looking for firms to back the Scared Senseless campaign, including major pub chains and telecoms companies. Haggie Hepburn will work with TV and print media to support the campaign with competitions, coverage and sponsorship.

Agency managing partner Ron Hepburn said: ‘There are so many opportunities to get people involved as they will be raising money for a fantastic charity.’ RNIB appointed Haggie Hepburn without a pitch.

Hannah Arbeid of marketing consultancy 100Watt Consulting developed the concept and will project manage the campaign with Hepburn and Juliet Tilley, an account director at Haggie Hepburn.
