Foreign Currency Direct in PR drive

Foreign Currency Direct (FCD) is to present case studies and trends about buying overseas properties in its first consumer media relations push.

FCD will aim to raise the profile of CEO Peter Ellis, who has 20 years’ experience in the industry, as the four-year-old company with an annual turnover of £500m targets property supplements in national newspapers and property titles.

Jane Herbert, managing director of Pilot Communications, which has been

hired as FCD’s first external agency, said the campaign demonstrates the price-competitiveness of FCD against high street rivals.

She said the campaign would emphasise FCD’s credibility in a fragmented and unregulated market.
