Plan to plug its Peru project work

International kids’ development charity Plan has teamed up with tour operator The Adventure Company to raise awareness of its project work tackling poverty in Peru.

Plan will embark on a national and regional PR campaign this autumn to inform potential visitors to Peru about the partnership.

Travellers with The Adventure Company will be given the opportunity to visit communities in Peru helped by Plan and, in a bid to attract funds, will be shown what further work is needed.

The campaign will target independent travellers aged between 20 and 55 who have an interest in eco-tourism and a sense of adventure.

The charity is organising a national press trip to Peru later this year, and will use individual case studies to sell in features to consumer and holiday titles, travel trade press and regional newspapers.
