Kallo aims soya at mainstream

Healthy-food firm Kallo Foods is to chase mainstream media to promote its first foray into soya with the launch of SoCrispy chips and SoCrunchy chocolate bars.

‘There is a huge number of on-the-go consumers who recognise the need to eat more healthily, so we’ll be looking much further than niche health-food titles. This is a mainstream opportunity,’ said brand manager Adam Graham.

Kallo, which dominates the UK rice cake market, has hired Nexus to promote soya through media relations and sampling.
