Everyman plans pants link-up

Everyman has teamed up with underwear brand Jockey to raise awareness about the dangers of testicular and prostate cancer among young men.

Everyman, the testicular and prostate cancer fundraising arm of the Institute of Cancer Research, plans to launch a ‘Pant Amnesty’ in conjunction with Jockey in November.

The campaign encourages men to donate their old underwear to ‘brief bins’ in five cities across the UK to raise money for cancer research. Leaflets describing the symptoms of testicular and prostate cancer will be distributed next to the bins every Monday in November, which will be dubbed ‘Undie Mondays’ in press packs.

Brazen PR, which is handling the campaign for Jockey, is looking to involve celebrities in the campaign and plans to use the donated underwear to boost the profile of the partnership, but would not reveal how the underwear would be used.
