Data firm targets pharma brands

A Nottingham-based consumer information firm has launched a network of websites to help pharma companies build brands, gather focus groups and recruit patients for clinical trials.

Ebiquita’s ‘medical condition network’ was unveiled last week and is targeted at patients and companies.

Ebiquita MD Andy Taylor said: ‘If you are trying to get 10,000 osteoporosis sufferers to trial a new treatment, it’s almost always going to be a challenge to quickly establish a working database.

‘Programming [on our website] ensures anyone researching osteoporosis will find the site quickly and see it has information relevant to them, with steps to register interest in a clinical trial if one exists and pointers to discussion groups,’ he added.
