Communique to launch Poppycock in UK

US food company Lincoln Snacks has appointed Communique PR to launch its Poppycock popcorn in the UK as an upmarket brand.

Poppycock hits shelves this month, with a PR campaign in August initially targeting food sections of the national press. It will then develop to include sampling and promotional opportunities at film festivals and premieres.

‘Poppycock will help move the popcorn sector upmarket, in the way that crisps, biscuits and ice cream have successfully done in recent years,’ said Communique director Chris Wood.
