Leviton assumed operational responsibility for the business last week from
Lucas, who has held the managing director role for the past four years.
However, Leviton said he would continue to service his existing clients, which include Ladbrokes and Merrill Lynch. He said LLM co-founder Neil Lawson will step down as expected at the end of the year.
Leviton joined LLM six and a half years ago from Shandwick Consultants, where he was an account director. The consultancy has a current headcount of 23 staff.
On the moves, Lucas told PRWeek: ‘I will be working exclusively now on services for existing clients.’ He added that co-founder Jon Mendelsohn and Leviton would be responsible for new business opportunities.
LLM hired The Communication Group’s political division director Ben Abbotts in May as an associate director.
Clara Bentham left her post at the company as associate director to join California-based pharmaceutical firm Chiron in its top UK government relations role.
