MPC adopts parent Tribal name

Public sector agency Marina Pirotta Communications has rebranded as Tribal MPC to reflect the identity of parent company Tribal Group and has moved into its owner’s premises off Oxford Street.

The agency, which was acquired by the public sector support services group for £2.75m last year (PRWeek, 11 June 2003), has also launched a recruitment drive which will bring its headcount from eight full-time staff to 13 by the end of the summer, including one director-level post.

Agency founder Marina Pirotta said a combination of referrals from Tribal Group and independent new business wins were behind the expansion. ‘Since we joined Tribal, we have seen a lot more cross-referral,’ she said.

Recent business wins have included Tower Hamlets Council and The London Fire and Rescue Service.

The Tribal MPC brand will be launched at the end of this month when the agency officially relocates to Tribal Group premises.
