CareWorks plugs Raise database

Health and social care IT provider CareWorks is set to publicise a series of case studies of patient record database software Raise as it bids to establish the technology as the accepted standard.

Integration of records is high on the news agenda following incidents such as the Soham murders where inefficient storing and sharing of information was exposed.

CareWorks has hired Johnson King PR to raise its profile in IT, local government and national press, with an initial project covering the Welsh Systems Consortium implementation of Raise.

The software, implemented by 64 authorities in the UK, such as local councils and healthcare organisations, integrates electronic records.

Further projects include the City of York, which will test the software’s compliance with the Government’s Integrated Children’s System guidelines.
