Launch PR wins Butlins job

Holiday-camp brand Butlins has hired Launch PR to handle its consumer PR. The agency is handling a five-month project to promote the upcoming launch of a revamped uniform for the firm’s Redcoat staff.

PR will focus on a London celebrity-driven launch for the uniform, which has yet to be unveiled, as well as regional events at three Butlins resorts. Launch PR senior consultant Gary Wheeldon leads an agency team, reporting to Butlins head of PR Rebecca Caradine, who said the campaign would ‘communicate this contemporary change to the mainstream consumer lifestyle media’. Butlins formerly used The Red Consultancy.
