The deal licenses the concept usage rights of the Nicktoons TV campaign to other Nickelodeon territories.
Frank PR will provide ‘strategic advice’ on maximising PR opportunities in each territory, although other agencies will handle local implementation, according to Frank chairman Graham Goodkind.
Goodkind said Frank will receive a ‘content usage fee’ each time a new territory embarks on their search for a local family and begins an associated PR campaign.
The first territories that will kick off the searches for families also include Scandinavia, Australia, Spain and Holland.
Frank PR’s campaign won PRWeek’s Campaign of the Year award last year. Ten episodes were produced of the cartoon series inspired by the campaign: Meet the Moores – The Nicktoons TV Family.
