Andrex in puppy media campaign

Kimberly-Clark has placed Andrex’s iconic puppy logo on its toilet rolls and is set to support a £5m marketing spend with PR and promotional activity that carries the theme ‘The puppies are moving in’.

The puppy, which was first used in 1972, is the star of a 21 April photocall event that kicks off TV ads, consumer PR and promotions that include competitions, toy puppy giveaways, in-store appearances and mobile phone downloads.

PR, handled by Republic, will target families. The product will not replace existing Andrex brands, said new products brand manager Alex Pickering.
