Johnson King in ADC media push

Telecoms software firm ADC Metrica is preparing to capitalise on the roll-out of video mobile with the appointment of Johnson King PR as its retained global media relations agency.

Johnson King account director Joe Banks said ADC – which tracks the performance of mobile operators’ 3G services – needed to bolster its profile in industry titles such as TotalTelecom and Telecommunications International by championing the retention of customers as more important than hyping new technologies.

He claimed ADC could help companies deliver on promises made to consumers about 3G after the disappointment of WAP kit.

Johnson King’s global remit includes overseeing Dovetail PR’s work in North and South America.
