London Golf Show makes celeb link

RB Exhibitions is set to target fashion and travel media, as well as specialist golf and consumer media, to build interest in the first London Golf Show, running from 21 to 24 April next year.

Newspin PR has been appointed to handle the campaign, which aims to pull in Gucci and Prada-calibre designers for an incorporated fashion show, as well as golf manufacturers and retailers. According to RB managing director Ross Broadstock, the campaign will use two top celebrity models and 35 professional golfers.

More than 60,000 are expected to attend the event.
