Celebrity awards campaign starts

The media relations campaign for Frank PR’s Epson Celebrity Dad of the Year award kicked off this week as the agency began its hunt for sponsors of two similar events, Young Celebrity of the Year and Celebrity Pet Owner of the Year.

Frank PR joint MD Andrew Bloch said the events were designed as media exposure opportunities for sponsors. He said the Quality Street-sponsored Celebrity Mum of the Year award won by Ulrika Jonsson last week generated coverage in all national tabloids, including full pages in the Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail, as well as TV and radio coverage.

Celebrity Dad of the Year will be held on 17 June.
