F-H UK consumer boss Craft leaves

Fleishman-Hillard UK is to restructure its consumer division following the departure of head of consumer, Helen Craft, who was made redundant this week.

Recently appointed UK MD Kevin Bell has pledged to invest in the consumer team with at least two new appointments as part of the shake-up, but Craft’s position cannot be directly filled because she was made redundant.

Associate directors Louise Jenkins and Emily Chapman are currently heading the division. The eight-strong consumer team’s clients include Procter & Gamble and food retailer Budgens.

Craft was recruited in November 2002 and takes redundancy shortly after returning from six months maternity leave.

Bell said: ‘I am hoping to recruit people who have previously worked in South Africa or the US, someone with a rounded global view. Fleishman is very strong in the US and has a strong consumer team there. We need to work with them well.’
