Valdivieso deal given to Phipps

Chilean wine brand Valdivieso has hired Phipps PR as it prepares to launch its first consumer campaign in more than a year.

Valdivieso importer Bibendum Wines has appointed Phipps to handle a campaign that will target regional media for more than 20 ‘Wines of Chile’ events starting in April.

Valdivieso brand manager Caroline Ewing said its primary target was 25 to 55-year-olds who buy their wine in supermarkets.

Ewing said Phipps was appointed without a pitch, having worked on trade PR for Valdivieso’s rebranding exercise early last year. Associate director Debbie Feickert leads the account.
