Dragons targets regional press

Dragons Health Clubs is to launch a membership recruitment drive, using events that trigger people to think about losing weight.

The campaign kicks off in the spring and will target regional press with features on events such as weddings, birthdays and summer holidays to highlight people’s desire to get into shape or follow a healthier lifestyle.

Claire Deeley, deputy managing director at Seal Communications, which is co-ordinating the campaign, said PR work will support direct marketing and highlight Dragons’ membership promotions. She said the primary target market was people aged over 25.

Dragons has more than 60,000 members at 21 health clubs located around the South East, the Midlands and the North West.
