Storm to promote sparkling vodka

Storm Communications has been appointed by International English Distillers to launch the world’s first sparkling vodka, Vodka O2.

The spirit will be promoted by Storm for the next 12 months. A media relations campaign will target consumer glossies, lifestyle publications, retail and trade magazines, as well as TV and radio.

The product is reported to have taken 18 months to create and apparently offers a light effervescent texture.

According to Storm director Amanda Williams, it will be positioned as a modern celebratory drink, or champagne alternative, to be drunk as an aperitif by ‘professional people and café society’.
