Camden steps up direct comms

The London Borough of Camden is stepping up its direct comms with residents as part of a renewed PR strategy for its street cleanliness and anti-crime Boulevard project.

Having completed a review of its comms strategy, project manager Pete Strange said he is looking to see a better flow of information direct to residents affected by initiatives within the project.

In line with this, the council has appointed its first community engagement officer, Nicholas Kahn, and there will be a greater emphasis on direct mailing of information.

This month the Boulevard project also appointed consultant Ian Beaumont as external comms adviser.
