Accent pushes ‘premium’ vodka

Drinks giant Brown-Forman is to launch a fresh UK promotional drive for its Finlandia Vodka brand.

The agency has replaced three-year incumbent Phipps PR with Richmond-based boutique Accent Communications.

Accent MD Janet Burns said the focus of the campaign would be consumer PR, which would stress Finlandia’s status as a ‘premium brand’ and its Scandinavian heritage.

Accent reports to Finlandia regional brand manager Tarja Tuunanen on an initial one-year contract.
