Impact Check will enable Xtreme’s customer base to request tailored opinion polls, provided by YouGov, giving the public’s reaction to their news coverage. The scheme will aim to provide results within 24 hours.
Xtreme news division deputy MD Jeremy Thompson said the service would benefit PR teams.
‘In the crisis management sphere this will be a really important tool, as it will allow PROs to react more quickly in scenarios where access to information and the speed of information are vital,’ he said. He added that the scheme is being promoted to Xtreme’s existing client base and through its online cuttings service.
