Red or Dead label appoints Iroquois for clothes launch

Red or Dead, the UK shoe brand started by fashion designer Wayne Hemingway, has hired Iroquois to spearhead the launch of its first clothing range in eight years.

Iroquois was appointed this week to handle PR around the roll out of Red or Dead’s new clothing labels at London Fashion Week in February. The fashion specialist is also to handle PR for Red or Dead shoes as part of an account worth around £75,000 a year.

A campaign promoting Red or Dead’s clothes range is to target fashion and women’s magazines such as Vogue, Tatler and Marie Claire.

The Red or Dead fashion label was started by Wayne and Geraldine Hemingway in the 1980s and is most famous for popularising Dr Martens boots and its range of Space Baby T-shirts.
