Citigate will front drive to promote LDA web service

The London Development Agency (LDA) is launching a campaign to encourage businesses and local government officials in the capital to exchange information online.

LDA roster agency Citigate Communications is to front the campaign, promoting the agency’s innovation internet portal, which it hopes to launch next spring.

The LDA, set up in July 2000, wants businesses, local government and university research councils to use the portal to exchange ideas.

Among other agencies on the LDA roster are Fishburn Hedges, Grayling, Media Strategy, The Forster Company, London Communications Agency and Tamesis Business Communications.

Meanwhile, the LDA is on the hunt for a head of communications, marketing and public affairs, after the departure in July of Morag Wood to set up her own agency. Chris Walker is the LDA’s interim head of communications.
