MEDIA: Pearson revamp widens Investors Chronicle market

Pearson-owned Investors Chronicle is to broaden its coverage of the investment market with an increased focus on bonds, pensions as well as alternative investments such as ISAs.

The change in direction for the weekly magazine is part of a revamp that has included the creation of a subscribers-only website, an educational supplement and increased editorial coverage with a 'how to manage capital more effectively theme', according to a statement from Pearson.

Also, the monthly Capital supplement, which focuses on personal finance, will now be a weekly part of the magazine, and its second largest section.

Investors Chronicle editor Matthew Vincent said: 'The implication is that the magazine will be viewed as a source for all types of investor.'
