Wembley National Stadium Limited (WNSL) has devised a four-year plan, and JCPR’s initial year-long remit will be to focus on Club Wembley, the ten-year premium seat licence offering.
Founding partner Robert Phillips will head up the five-strong team, reporting to WNSL marketing and comms director Jonathan Hill and working alongside the Football Association.
JCPR associate director Kim Holliday said: ‘So far, the press has been very positive, but we are facing issues such as transport and pricing. It’s also important to promote the new stadium as belonging to the nation, rather than being just a London stadium.’
There are 17,000 reserved season tickets for the 90,000-capacity stadium that will generate the greatest share of the stadium’s income and guarantee a seat at all England home matches and FA Cup finals.
The hire follows a pitch against The Red Consultancy, Lexis PR and Shine Communications (PRWeek, 25 July).
