DIARY: B&W helps pink pasty highlight his best bits

Black & White Public Relations is providing PR tips to help a competitor in the annual Mr Gay UK contest secure more votes, it emerged this week.

Andy Russell won the right to represent his county, Cornwall, last month and drafted in B&W to help his bid to secure one of the 15 slots in the grand final at G.A.Y. in London in August.

So far, B&W director Chris King says he has helped secure favourable coverage in journals including The Cornishman, adding that slots on local TV stations will now be targeted as Russell bids to win public support.

King says Russell, for whom Shoreditch-based B&W is working pro bono, is already being referred to by his mates as the 'pink pasty'.
