Raiter, who handled PR for spin-off Versace brands such as Versace Sport and Versace Young, joined Moschino in New York this month to take charge of a team of four.
She reports directly to US-based senior V-P of sales and promotions Michelle Stein.
Raiter leaves Versace after a year. Prior to this she worked at Christian Dior, where she was director of special events and projects.
At Moschino, her first campaign will involve the launch of its 20th anniversary celebratory autumn shows.
‘The campaign will begin in earnest in September, with the main focus being on the women’s shows in October. November is when we’ll pack the final punch,’ said Raiter.
Versace’s US office has yet to replace Raiter, but will use retained agency KCD to fill her role in the interim.
