Former journalist Cowdry launches personnel agency

Former Fleet Street journalist Quentin Cowdry this week launched his own recruitment consultancy for communications practitioners.

Libero Consulting aims to fill both agency and in-house comms posts with a 'cost-effective' and 'personal' service.

The consultancy - based in Chiswick, west London - will provide recruitment services at middle and senior management level, plus services such as staff assessment and salary benchmarking.

Cowdry has spent the past year as a senior consultant at Watson Helsby and before that two years as a board director at headhunter Taylor Bennett.

Prior to that Cowdry was a director at PR firm Paragon Communications, now part of Golin/Harris International.

Before Paragon, Cowdry spent 14 years in journalism, notably as The Times home affairs correspondent and in various Daily Telegraph roles.
