Edwards, who began work at Cunning Stunts this week, takes the newly created role of head of PR, leading a team of three at the 16-strong agency.
Cunning Stunts group MD Anna Carloss, who said a rebrand was planned for the group but declined to provide details, said: 'We needed a figurehead for the PR side.'
'The main part of the company will remain creative and ambient marketing. I plan to add weight to the stunt work and win my own PR accounts,' said Edwards.
Meanwhile, C&W - which is now recruiting to replace Edwards - has hired former Cake board director Claire Mann to its consumer team.
Mann, who quit Cake last month after three years as a board director, began work last week in a similar role, reporting to marcoms director Ash Coleman-Smith.
