Kehoe moves up as replacement head of APCO UK

APCO has appointed Stephen Kehoe as its UK managing director to replace Nick DeLuca, who takes a broader European remit.

Kehoe will lead a 37-strong team split between corporate and public affairs work and report to APCO Europe chairman Brad Staples.

He joined APCO seven months ago, from the Washington DC office of Weber Shandwick/BSMG, to be a London-based director of APCO Europe.

Before working in the US, Kehoe spent eight years in Brussels as managing director of Adamson/BSMG and deputy director of BAe Brussels.

At Weber Shandwick/BSMG, he was senior managing director of public affairs for nearly three years.

DeLuca is currently on sabbatical, but is expected to return to work in March to take a newly created role as part of the European management team.

Details of the role have yet to be decided, but it will probably include business-development strategy.

APCO UK's clients include WorldCom, FedEx, Novartis and HBoS.
