Cow PR selected to bring Comfort characters to life

Lever Faberge is to run a PR campaign around the Comfort cloth kit characters Darren and Lisa featured in its TV ad campaign.

The group is launching a PR push as part of a wider integrated marketing campaign to help 'bring the characters to life' and promote the fabric conditioner at the same time.

Cow PR won a five-way pitch to lead the PR work, reporting into Lever Faberge corporate relations manager Ash Tailor and Comfort brand manager Claire Dent.

Tailor said the campaign has been designed in response to customer demand: 'We have had numerous calls asking for dolls, posters etc - the characters Darren and Lisa obviously struck a chord with consumers.'

The appointment does not affect Cairns & Associates' position as retained core product PR agency for the Comfort brand.
