Cordiant brands financial offer as FD International

Cordiant Communications has relaunched its global financial PR offering under the brand FD International - a network of 12 offices and 300 staff.

FD International effectively replaces the former Business Communications International, led by CEO Nick Miles and MD Hugh Morrison, who left amid controversy early this year (PRWeek, 25 January).

The launch of the network, named after Cordiant's flagship London brand Financial Dynamics, is accompanied by the announcement of link-ups with Milan's FD Accento and Stockholm's FD Hallvarsson & Halvarsson.

The rebrand extends to all Cordiant financial PR interests: in London, the US, Ireland and Germany, Sweden and Italy.

FD's UK chief executive Charles Watson, who leads FD International as CEO alongside his UK role, said: 'If there was a strategic message from this, it's that we have moved on.'

Watson is supported in managing the network by chief financial officer Dana Mulvihill, COO Steve Jacobs and international business development director Declan Kelly.
