Hall, who was deputy editor of PRWeek until joining The Sunday Telegraph in 1995, said the move appealed because The Sunday Times 'is a bigger title, the market leader, with more space, and the profiles are bigger'.
Rupert Steiner has been writing profiles since Robert Peston gave up the brief to become City editor of The Sunday Telegraph (PRWeek, 5 April). Steiner will revert to his other duties as senior business writer.
Godson admitted he is 'a while away' from finding a replacement for his own City editor, Kirstie Hamilton, who quit to join PR firm Tulchan Communications in March.
