MEDIA BRIEFS: FT media editor to become bureau chief

FINANCIAL TIMES: FT media editor James Harding is to leave the paper's London office in September to become Washington bureau chief. Harding, who joined the FT in 1994, will report to US managing editor Lionel Barber. Harding will be responsible for the bureau's news coverage and will report on politics and foreign affairs.
