DIARY: Chelgate folk stand in local London elections

Public affairs specialist Chelgate is covering all bases in this week's local elections.

Executive vice-presidents Tony Brown and Bene't Steinberg are standing in Ealing and Redbridge respectively for the Tories, while senior counsellors Mark Pursey and Mark Glover are standing in different Southwark wards for the Lib Dems and Labour respectively.

It could be argued that this represents an unusual, if modest, attempt to finally replace their odd 'counsellor' title.
